A Connecticut native with over two decades of experience, Chef Scott Quinn has honed his craft in some of the world’s most revered kitchens, from Michelin-starred establishments to acclaimed neighborhood gems. Scott credits his many years working for the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group for his epicurean knowledge and his experience with high quality ingredients.
Chef Scott’s culinary career includes extended stops at Bouchon in Las Vegas, working his way up to Executive Sous Chef, and Executive Chef positions at Bistro Bagatelle in L.A., the Claremont Hotel in Berkeley, and most recently as Executive Chef for the past 6 years at Wayfare Tavern and Luna American Brasserie in San Francisco. His journey is defined by an unwavering pursuit of excellence, leading him across the globe to master diverse techniques and push the boundaries of contemporary cuisine.
Returning to his roots in Connecticut, Scott set out to create more than just a restaurant—he envisioned a gathering place where culinary artistry meets heartfelt hospitality. As Chef and Owner of Charter Oak Tavern, he seamlessly blends locally sourced ingredients with innovative techniques, transforming each dish into an unforgettable experience.
